A story delving into an infectious malware that infects the population of a stray moon; Solvervirus is a self-developed web-comic that I've been creating based on the already existing IP of Glitch Production's Murder Drones. What started as a passion project intensified into a story that I am confident and invested in to post on my platforms.
Originally made using Affinity Designer, I moved onto Procreate as it's a program I am more confident using when it comes to illustration work.
Character Design
I created these character designs with the original designs being taken in mind from the existing IP.
As the story takes place after the events of the original series, I developed them further and added depth that would both show signs of the original but also the addition of new characteristics from this story.
The "Hunger" character was designed as an anti-hero in mind, as his motives are currently unknown in the story. His ominous look is to better portray this as well.
"Vivian" is the antagonist of the series as she is amidst the infected and becomes the main vessel of the hivemind. Her twisted appearance is to emphasise her yet-to-be warped manner.
SolverVirus currently has 3 Chapters released. However, each chapter was released far from each other due to personal complications.
